The journal allows free access (Open Access) to its contents, processing or publication of manuscripts. All articles published open access will be immediately and permanently free for everyone to read, download, copy and distribute.

Permitted third party reuse is defined by the following user license:
Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0)
Authors sign an agreement granting the Publisher to publish the article under the CC BY Creative Commons license. Authors also grant any third party the right to use, distribute and reproduce the article in any medium, provided the original work is properly cited.
Copyright
The authors grant Journal of Hainan Medical University a license to publish their work worldwide in all media and formats, and willingly transfer the non-exclusive use right to Journal of Hainan Medical University. In addition, authors grant the journal the right to edit and make technical modifications to their works as deemed necessary by the publisher for the purposes of publication in the journal. For all articles published in Open Access, the journal uses a CC BY license.
